Vietnamese Money: ‘Dong’ anyone?

dong Vietnamese Money: Dong anyone?

Right before moving to Vietnam, I traded $100 USD for Vietnamese money, aka dong. My money translated to a little over $2,000,000 in Vietnamese cash and for the first — and only — time in my life I was a millionaire. First of all, I think it’s funny that their currency is known as dong. How am I suppose to take anyone serious after that one? Second of all, doesn’t Uncle Ho look like he belongs on a box of KFC original chicken?
